The mission of St Richard's Nursery is to provide a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe and valued.  Our unique parish nursery respects the individuality of every child. The programme for development is based on the EYFS and is designed to acknowledge each child's interests and to be led by them in their learning. It is through child-led play and creative activities that children at St Richard's reach their potential and become confident and curious about the world.  

Our setting is central to Chichester, adjacent to the church and St Richard's Primary School, and offers a homely environment on which the staff pride themselves. We are a Catholic nursery and respect all faiths and religions.  Children flow freely between the spacious natural garden and the nursery room, enabling the curriculum to be supported both inside and out. The children have the choice to learn indoors or outdoors at all times of the day and in all weathers!
